Knit-knit-knitting

Ok, so I really love to knit. I'm always knitting. I take a bag of my WIP's with me wherever I go. I'm pretty sure I do this, because when I was little my German Oma (grandma) would always say: "Sit quietly and do something." So I figure it's been ingrained in me to not just sit idle. Definitely a good lesson. =0)

Every week-day I'm knitting a WIP while I wait after school for my elflings. It's really quite dear when random kids come up to me and ask all intrigued: "YOU know how to knit?!" They're genuinely gobsmacked! It may be because they only ever see their granny's knitting, but I'm gonna go with they just really think knitting is cool!

I'm currently working on a pair of Fingerless Gauntlets in this wool, "Morrigan," by Mosaic Moon. It's one of my favorites! I'll post pics in the morning. =0)

Updated Icons - Now with more Earthy!

I've been puttering around in Photoshop, trying to come up with an updated set of icons for my main HC site, http://www.oakanwillow.com/, and I'm super-please with how they've turned out. I like that they're simple, delicate, and earthy. Woot!
